Forget Wearable Tech: Smart Clothing Is The New Fashion Trend To Watch

Smart watches may be all the rage this season, but the next big trend in fashion is actually making the clothing you wear, smarter. Smart Clothing or e-textiles are fashions that either leverage technology in the design or have electronics imbedded into the fabrics to solve a problem or challenge. Here are two cool clothing companies that are tackling everyday fashion problems with their smart designs and revolutionizing the industry:

Slonemen Sloane Men launched in 2010 with the mission of creating the “perfect undershirt” for men. By using natural colors that match the skin-tone and a Siro Micro Modal and Spandex fabric blend; the company has created a breathable, lightweight, “invisible undershirt” for men that can be worn comfortably under dress shirts. Perfect for men of all luscious shades the shirts are available in three colors: Sand, Scotch and Smoke and retail for $34.
