A new school year is a great time to reflect on all the great lessons we learned from our teachers and professors when were were younger. Anyone who knows me, knows my childhood was spent bouncing around from school to school because I was in and out of foster care. The teachers I had over the years (especially my elementary ones) were my source of comfort and mental stability. The lessons they taught me have stayed with me and it’s the simplest ones that have had the largest impact on my life.
