Recently, I got to spend the day with Grammy award winning singer/song writer Estelle in Chicago as she painted the city Rosa for Rosa Regale sparking wine. The event was really exciting to produce and included a three hour beauty experience where the fabulous ladies of Chi-town were treated to free Shea Moisture make-overs, manicures and hair touch-ups. Guests were also treated to Rosa Regale cocktails (pretty heavenly) and some exclusive quality time with Estelle.

The event was attended by the lovely ladies of #She’sGottaShow. They covered the carpet (and looked stunning on it). Akishia Lockhart, the show’s host and producer was on the top of her journalistic game as she interviewed Estelle. As a fellow blogger and entrepreneur, I was impressed by her story of hard work and determination. Her personality and energy is amazing (and so were her shoes). I know she’ll be doing great interviews for years to come.

Decor for the event was simple and elegant with pops of red and roses throughout. DJ Niena Drake spun music and kept the party hot. I’m not sure what guests loved more between the music, Estelle, the cocktails and the beauty pampering. It was a pretty fun experience.

Of course, I had to get my make up touched up (it was a beauty event after all). The makeup artist did a such a fabulous job (and in less than 5 minutes I might add), I was ready to hit the club scene with the Rosa Regale team and Ms. Estelle once we wrapped.

It’s been a while since I’ve been clubbing, but a PR Girl’s got to work. We starting the evening at Club Vertigo and ended at Parliament Lounge. Both venues were a lot of fun with great music. It didn’t hurt that we were part of the VIP set (thanks Estelle), so things were pretty smooth sailing throughout the night. Rosa Regale was the drink of choice the entire evening. As a champagne/sparking wine lover; I couldn’t find a reason to complain. After all, there are worst ways to spend a evening:).

Overall, the day was pretty fabulous and Estelle is absolutely engaging and as sweet as can be. I’m looking forward to the opportunity spend the day with her in Miami in a few weeks. Here is the RSVP if you’re looking for an sparking way to spend your day.
