The Style Corner: Vintage Dress

Sometimes oldies really are goodies. I hit up my local Goodwill recently and found this vintage yellow striped number that looked fabulous especially at its $12 price tag. I rarely wear my hair up but felt like going for a more sophisticated chic style with the look, so I rocked a sock bun updo. I blinged out my hair with a rose gold IVchic hair jewel and accessorized my dress with a gold front belt, neon envelop bag and shades. People really liked the outfit, especially my accessories.

The cool thing about a dress with a simple silhouette is you can style it up or down depending on your mood. I might add a tea length swing petticoat to the dress to give it some volume the next time I wear it (yay).
