Most teens are too focused on living their current lives to think about what they’ll do career wise later in life, but Samantha Levine was crystal clear on her dream of becoming a jewelry designer from a young age. This owner and head designer of Auburn Jewelry began “designing, creating and handcrafting jewelry” when she was 14 years old.
The talented artist was luckily enough to attend a high school that offered jewelry and metals classes and by her senior year was the founder and president of the school’s jewelry club. Samantha went on to major in American Studies and minor in Jewelry and Metals at Skidmore College and later attended and graduated from law school.
Since graduation Samantha has been living the entrepreneurial life and working on her jewelry line full-time. The custom jewelry pieces she creates are simple, elegant, chic and preppy and are designed for men and women of all ages. Her colorful pendants, necklaces and cufflinks have caught the eyes of celebrities like David Tutera, Clinton Kelly and Carmindy. Auburn Jewelry has also featured on People.com and CBS New York.
This bubbly boss of bauble has sound advice for other entrepreneurs seeking to follow their passions. “I would tell them not to give up on their dreams. It’s never too late to do what you love.”
With pieces that range from $30 – $325 the line makes a perfect gift option for Valentines Day and other special days. We’re looking forward to watching this cool business continue to expend.
